We are proud to announce that 48 students from standard 1 to 6, representing 12 primary schools in the Chemor area, have been selected to participate in the 3R Program. This incredible initiative, organized jointly by the Perak State Public Library Corporation and Mimbar Nusantara Holdings Sdn Bhd, a state housing development company in Perak, the program will span three months, starting from 21st June 2023 and concluding on 9th September 2023.

Among the schools involved in this program are Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Haji Mahmud Chemor，SK Tanah Hitam, SK Syed Idrus, SK Klebang Jaya, Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan Cina (SJKC) Pei Cheng, SJKC Tanah Hitam, SJKC Poi Lam, SJKC Kuala Kuang, SJKC Chong Hwa, Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan Tamil (SJKT) Ladang Chemor, SJKT Klebang and SJKT Chepor.

The program was inaugurated by YB Khairudin Abu Hanipah, the State Executive Councillor for Education, Higher Education, Youth, and Sports, at the Datuk Seri Husni Public Library in Chemor.

Our main mission is to cultivate a love for reading among the younger generation while increasing the overall literacy rate within the community.
